This panel is fresh out of the kiln. The seahorses are hand painted with black glass enamel that fuses to the glass when fired. The back of the seahorses were painted with cranberry enamel. I arranged the seahorses on a peacock blue and white streaky glass from Bullseye. I hand pulled
vitrograph for the seaweed. One set is different amber colors and the other is various green and dichro glass. It took two firings one to fully fuse the background and the other to contour fuse the seahorses and the addition of additional vitrograph. I haven’t decided how I am going to display it. This picture was taken on the hood of my car!
